Dyna.Ai Joins Hong Kong’s Inaugural GenA.I. Sandbox++

Hong Kong’s inaugural Generative Artificial Intelligence Sandbox++, or GenA.I. Sandbox++, is a joint initiative of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Securities and Futures Commission, Insurance Authority and Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, in collaboration with Cyberport. Spanning banking, securities, insurance and pension funds, the programme shifts the emphasis from conversational AI pilots to agentic systems capable of executing complex tasks, with real-time governance and regulatory oversight intended to support responsible deployment across financial services.

The regulators announced the first cohort on Aug. 27, 2026, selecting 36 use cases involving 30 financial institutions and 27 technology partners from nearly 100 proposals. Dyna.Ai confirmed its selection on Sept. 1 and said it would deploy production-ready Agentic AI capabilities and governance harnesses, helping institutions delegate workflows to autonomous agents while retaining compliance controls. The appointment marks Dyna.Ai’s second consecutive selection by Hong Kong regulators after it joined the HKMA’s GenAI Sandbox in October 2025.
