TeamT5 Flags Three AI Agent Security Blind Spots, Launches ThreatSonar Plus
As companies turn generative AI into agents capable of independently calling systems, accessing data and carrying out tasks, account permissions and data boundaries are becoming harder to control. Taiwanese cybersecurity company TeamT5 said misconfigured permissions, confidential-data leaks and malicious prompt injection are the three blind spots businesses most often overlook during adoption. These weaknesses could turn tools designed to improve efficiency into gateways for internal attacks.
TeamT5 disclosed the risks at CYBERSEC 2026 in Taiwan and launched the ThreatSonar Plus protection platform. The platform helps companies inventory internal AI assets, identify exposure points, and quantitatively assess security risks and remediation priorities. As of the conference announcement, TeamT5 had not disclosed the platform’s price, implementation costs or formal commercial launch date.
