Hotai Leasing Plans Third-Quarter Listing, Taps AI to Optimize Fleet Dispatch
Hotai Group’s Hotai Leasing is Taiwan’s leading vehicle rental company and a major player in the domestic car-sharing and corporate leasing markets. As subscription services built around renting rather than buying and the personal rental market expand rapidly, the company has accelerated its digital transformation in recent years, using AI and big data to optimize fleet dispatch. The planned listing marks a milestone in the group’s service expansion and could reshape competition in Taiwan’s smart transportation industry.
Hotai Leasing recently announced plans to formally list its shares in the third quarter of 2026 and raise about NT$3.56 billion. The company said the proceeds would primarily fund personal vehicle rentals and car subscription services. It will also introduce digital technologies including AI-powered vehicle recognition, big-data analytics and intelligent algorithms to improve fleet dispatch and operating efficiency, marking a key step by parent Hotai Motor into the emerging car-sharing market.
