Qualcomm Unveils Sub-$300 Arduino Ventuno Q Single-Board Computer for Offline AI

Qualcomm has partnered with open-source hardware platform Arduino to bring edge AI computing to an affordable single-board computer. Designed for robotics and smart-city development, the Arduino Ventuno Q can run models on-device, reducing reliance on cloud connectivity, latency and the risk of data leaving the device while accelerating real-world AI deployment.

As of July 19, 2026, Qualcomm said the Arduino Ventuno Q would feature a Dragonwing IQ8 processor delivering 40 TOPS of AI performance and could run large language models and vision-language models offline. The product is expected to cost less than $300, or under NT$10,000, and was used to showcase edge AI applications at the Smart City Summit & Expo.
