Taiwan’s AI Wave Show highlighted on-premise models designed to keep sensitive data inside company networks while reducing latency and addressing security concerns. The exhibits matter because businesses increasingly want AI systems that can work with existing hardware and internal data without relying entirely on external cloud services.

Recent demonstrations included natural-language search for network-attached storage, real-time two-way translation at service counters and computer vision for sports footage. Exhibitors also showed compact workstations that can run enterprise AI agents locally, offering tighter control over information and system access. No purchase values or commercial rollout dates were disclosed, but the products signaled a shift from technical prototypes toward tools built for specific workplace tasks.
