Tighter U.S. Export Controls Double Nvidia B300 Server Prices on China’s Black Market

The U.S. government has continued to tighten export controls on advanced AI chips and servers bound for China. Nvidia’s B300, a high-end computing product, cannot be imported into the country through authorized channels. Demand from Chinese companies for AI training and inference capacity remains strong, pushing the supply gap into the gray market and making prices an important gauge of the controls’ effectiveness.

The latest market data show that Nvidia B300 AI servers are now quoted at about 7 million yuan on China’s gray market. That is equivalent to more than NT$30 million and over $1 million, nearly double the price at the end of 2025. Nvidia said the product is prohibited from being sold to China and that it will not provide service or technical support for systems obtained through illegal channels.
