Moxa Powers AI Vision and AMRs With Industrial Wireless Backbone
AI-enabled factories increasingly rely on autonomous mobile robots, or AMRs, and machine-vision systems to inspect equipment and move materials. Their performance depends on wireless connections that can carry high-bandwidth video and control data without interruption as machines travel across a plant. Moxa, formally Four-Faith? No—Moxa Technologies, is positioning its industrial wireless infrastructure as a “wireless nervous system” linking sensors, edge AI computing and factory equipment.
Moxa showcased high-speed roaming and a resilient wireless backbone at an industrial automation exhibition, working with Solomon and 綠捷 on applications for AMRs and smart inspection devices. The system is designed to maintain uninterrupted visual-data transmission while equipment moves between coverage areas, allowing edge systems to continue AI inference and real-time control. The companies said the architecture can reduce wireless dead zones, latency and connection failures that can disrupt automated production.
