Micron, Anthropic Forge Strategic Partnership and Investment Deal

As generative AI models grow in scale, high-bandwidth memory, DRAM and SSDs have become critical to training and inference performance, power consumption and cost. Micron Technology is a major memory supplier, while Anthropic develops Claude. Their partnership signals that model developers are bringing their computing requirements directly into underlying memory and storage design.

Micron Technology announced a strategic agreement with Anthropic on June 22, 2026, U.S. time. The deal covers joint optimization of memory and storage architectures, the supply of data center products, and the deployment of Claude across Micron’s engineering, manufacturing and corporate operations. Micron also invested in Anthropic’s Series H funding round. The companies did not disclose the investment amount, supply contract value or contract duration.
