臺銀分析金價走勢：跌破 4,500 美元屬長線低檔買點

International gold prices face pressure from a stronger U.S. dollar and persistently high U.S. Treasury yields, but geopolitical risks, demand for inflation hedges and continued gold-reserve accumulation by central banks are still supporting the market. Bank of Taiwan said gold serves both as a safe haven and a portfolio allocation tool, making the $5,000 level an important marker for its medium- to long-term outlook.

As of July 20, 2026, Bank of Taiwan’s latest analysis said international gold prices continued to hold above the key support level of $5,000 an ounce. Although a strong dollar and elevated U.S. Treasury yields pose near-term pressure, the medium- to long-term bullish structure remains intact as long as geopolitical uncertainty persists and central banks continue buying gold.
