Taiwan Mobile Seeks Systex Control in NT$29.1 Billion Tender Offer

Taiwan Mobile is seeking to deepen its shift beyond telecommunications into enterprise technology services by taking control of Systex Corporation, a major Taiwanese systems integrator. The combination would pair Taiwan Mobile’s telecom network and AI data-center infrastructure with Systex’s software, integration expertise and corporate customer base, strengthening their ability to compete for larger information and communications technology contracts.

Taiwan Mobile said on Aug. 12, 2026, it plans to spend more than NT$29.1 billion in a public tender offer for Systex shares, aiming to raise its holding above 50% and become the controlling shareholder. The companies plan to pursue growth through three priorities — cross-selling, AI and regional expansion — by combining computing infrastructure with enterprise implementation and support services.
