HSBC to Launch Taiwan’s First AI Humanoid Robotics Fund
As generative AI expands from cloud computing into physical devices, humanoid robots are emerging as the technology industry’s next major investment theme. NVIDIA Chief Executive Jensen Huang has also identified physical AI as the next battleground, drawing market attention to supply chains spanning sensors, chips, electromechanical integration and robot manufacturing.
HSBC Asset Management announced that subscriptions for Taiwan’s first AI Humanoid Robotics Multi-Asset Fund will open on July 6. The fund will focus on three areas: AI hardware and software, electromechanical automation integration, and robotics research, development and manufacturing. It will also allocate assets to short-duration bonds to diversify risk. Publicly available information has not disclosed its fundraising target.
