KGI Securities Highlights Young Investor Trends and LINE Bank Partnership
Taiwan stock investing is shifting toward smaller transactions and digital services. Among clients under 35, KGI Securities sees AI-related stocks, actively managed ETFs, recurring investments in odd lots and ex-rights and ex-dividend opportunities as key gateways to asset allocation. Since March 28, 2024, LINE Bank has allowed investors to link KGI Securities settlement accounts, enabling mobile fund management and automatic debits.
KGI Securities released first-half data on July 8, 2026, showing that more than 90% of new clients under 35 used odd-lot or recurring investment services. Participation in public share subscriptions rose nearly 20% from a year earlier, while recurring investments start at NT$100. Customers who open an account by July 31 and complete an initial trade of at least NT$1,000 by August 14 can receive a NT$300 e-voucher, plus 100 LINE POINTS for completing the account link.
