Zenity Raises $125 Million to Expand AI Agent Security
Enterprises are deploying AI agents that can access sensitive data, invoke software tools and carry out workflows with limited human intervention. That expansion creates new security risks, including manipulated agents, excessive permissions and unauthorized actions. Zenity provides a security and governance platform designed to help companies monitor agent behavior, manage access and impose controls as autonomous AI systems become more deeply embedded in business operations.
Zenity said it raised $125 million in a Series C funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $180 million. The company plans to use the proceeds to develop its AI agent security and governance platform, expand its cybersecurity research team and grow in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The investment targets rising corporate demand for safeguards against agents being hijacked or acting beyond their authorized privileges.

Founded in 2021, Zenity began by securing low-code applications and has since shifted its focus to enterprise AI agents. Its platform provides visibility, governance and runtime protection across services including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini, Claude, Codex and Cursor. The need has grown as agents gain access to sensitive systems, invoke tools and make decisions, creating risks that model-level safeguards or single-prompt screening were not designed to manage.
Zenity said on Aug. 4, 2026, it closed a $125 million Series C led by Norwest. New investors Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures and LG Technology Ventures joined existing backers Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, DTCP and Intel Capital. The company will use the proceeds for global expansion, platform development and growth at Zenity Labs. Zenity employs more than 230 people and said revenue tripled in each of the past two years.
