Itoflow Raises $2.5 Million to Scale Investment Research AI Agents
London-based Itoflow, founded in 2026, is building AI agents for professional investment teams that cannot afford the research, testing and monitoring infrastructure developed by the largest hedge funds. Co-founded by former Tower Research Capital executive Aditya Jha, the startup aims to convert each firm’s investment process into governed workflows spanning idea generation, risk assessment and portfolio review, allowing teams to expand coverage without proportionately increasing headcount.
Itoflow said on Aug. 25, 2026, that it raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Balderton Capital, with angel investors including Cleo founder Barney Hussey-Yeo. The company plans to use the proceeds to expand its engineering and quantitative research teams, develop the platform and support commercial and regulatory work. Itoflow is conducting pilots with hedge funds and family offices while pursuing partnerships with exchanges, brokerages and data providers.
