Crypto Market Has Bottomed, Multicoin Partner Bullish on SOL and ZEC
After an extended period of volatility in the cryptocurrency market, investors are eager to identify signs of a bottom. Tushar Jain, a partner at prominent venture capital firm Multicoin Capital, said the market had reached a turning point, citing rock-bottom sentiment, rising application adoption and a disconnect between prices and fundamentals. His assessment suggests the market may have already bottomed and offers investors reconsidering their allocations a key perspective on onchain fundamentals and market cycles.
In a report dated July 13, 2026, Jain disclosed that he had accumulated a large share of the Zcash (ZEC) supply and remained bullish on Solana (SOL) and the architecture of decentralized trading platform Hyperliquid. To preserve portfolio flexibility, he outlined a “one-third position-building strategy”: allocating one-third to immediate purchases, one-third to dollar-cost averaging and one-third to reserves for the final stage.
