Midas Raises $50 Million in Series A to Address Tokenized Asset Liquidity Bottleneck

2 reports · First detected 2026-03-30 · Last active 2026-03-30

Founded in 2024, Midas packages institutional-grade yield strategies into onchain tokens. Such funds often deploy capital into lending or DeFi strategies, however, forcing investors to wait for positions to be unwound before redemptions can be processed. As institutions accelerate their push into tokenized assets, the ability to offer immediate exits without sacrificing transparency or returns has become a key barrier to broader market adoption.

On March 30, 2026, Midas announced a $50 million Series A funding round led by RRE and Creandum, with participation from Coinbase Ventures and others. The proceeds will be used to expand Midas Staked Liquidity, whose first phase will have capacity of up to $40 million and use pre-positioned capital to support instant redemptions. The company has issued $1.7 billion in tokenized assets.
