AI Takes Center Stage at COMPUTEX 2026 as NVIDIA’s Presence Surges
Once centered on PC components and hardware specifications, COMPUTEX will shift decisively toward AI chips, system integration and application experiences in 2026. NVIDIA has evolved from an exhibitor into the show’s central attraction, reflecting the accelerating concentration of global technology supply chains and investment in AI infrastructure.
The latest plans show that NVIDIA is expected to take over the entire Taipei International Convention Center. CEO Jensen Huang is due to arrive in Taiwan on the 27th, joining AMD CEO Lisa Su in building momentum ahead of the show. AI enthusiasm has also lifted supply-chain stocks, with TSMC shares briefly reaching a record high of NT$2,440.
