Aevi, Nomupay Open Southeast Asia Payments Corridor

Merchants expanding internationally often face a patchwork of acquirers, payment terminals and local methods, forcing them to rebuild integrations for each market. Aevi provides open, cloud-native orchestration for in-person payments, while Nomupay’s API-first platform combines card acquiring, alternative payment methods and cross-border payouts. Their partnership is designed to give merchants, financial institutions, software vendors and payment providers a single route to deploy omnichannel services across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Aevi and Nomupay announced the strategic agreement in London on July 21, 2026, linking Aevi’s SmartPOS and orchestration technology with Nomupay’s acquiring infrastructure. Nomupay will serve as an Aevi host connector, extending in-person acceptance and opening a payments corridor across Southeast Asia. The platform supports local payment options in Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Philippines, alongside European markets, with retail, fuel and convenience, and financial services among the target sectors. The companies did not disclose financial terms.
