Shopline Launches Visual Security Center to Bolster Merchant Protection
E-commerce software platforms sit at a critical junction for merchants, handling orders, customer data and payment flows through a single administrative system. Unauthorized access can therefore disrupt operations and expose sensitive information. Shopline’s new Information Security Center consolidates previously dispersed safeguards into a visible dashboard, aiming to make security risks and recommended actions easier for merchants to understand.
Shopline launched the security center after 18 months of development, using real-time red, yellow and green scores to show the risk level of merchant accounts. The company also introduced game-like prompts to encourage users to strengthen their settings and expanded adoption of two-factor authentication. Shopline said the measures reduced the risk of unauthorized access among high-risk accounts by more than 90%, improving protection for store operations and payment transactions.
