Advantech Partners With NVIDIA on AI Factory Brain for Smart Manufacturing

Advantech has long focused on industrial computers and edge-computing equipment. Its partnership with NVIDIA to build an AI-native factory architecture integrates generative AI, real-time data analytics and factory controls into operational workflows, reflecting the company’s shift from hardware supplier to provider of decision-making platforms for smart manufacturing.

Advantech unveiled AI Factory Brain at COMPUTEX 2026, combining NVIDIA’s computing platforms and AI tools to help manufacturers monitor equipment, production lines and operations in real time. The companies have not disclosed the amount invested in the partnership or a commercialization timeline, but the launch establishes Advantech’s product strategy for moving into factory operations platforms.
