Standard Chartered Opens Fourth Women Entrepreneurship Awards With NT$2 Million Prize Pool

Women entrepreneurs often face greater barriers when raising capital, building networks and accessing business resources. Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) and the Garden of Hope Foundation created the Standard Chartered Women Entrepreneurship Awards to provide prizes, mentorship and community support. The program also reflects the spirit of the United Nations' International Women's Day on March 8 and aims to gradually build an ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.

Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) and the Garden of Hope Foundation recently opened applications for the fourth Standard Chartered Women Entrepreneurship Awards, with total prize money of NT$2 million. Through funding, professional mentorship and connections to entrepreneurial communities, the program will help women entrepreneurs gain access to two critical resources — capital and networks — and expand both their businesses and social impact.
