Google TV Adds Gemini AI Tools for Image and Video Creation
Google is extending generative AI from phones and computers to Google TV, turning televisions into more than streaming devices. With Gemini, Nano Banana and Veo, users can generate images and videos on the big screen. The move reflects Google’s efforts to integrate content-creation capabilities into its home entertainment ecosystem and expand the range of use cases for its AI services.
Google TV recently announced several AI creation features that let users turn text or spoken ideas into images and videos. Users can also search Google Photos by voice and apply custom styles to personal photos. As of July 20, 2026, reports had not disclosed an official launch date, supported models, geographic availability or subscription pricing.
