Jioushun Opens Kaohsiung Branch, Targets Tech Construction With AI

1 reports · First detected 2026-03-20 · Last active 2026-03-20

Jioushun Construction (5547), a contractor with more than 30 years of experience in northern Taiwan, entered the over-the-counter market in early 2026. Its southern expansion comes as semiconductor and artificial-intelligence investment reshapes Kaohsiung and the Southern Taiwan Science Park’s “S corridor,” lifting demand for factories, offices and tighter construction controls. The move gives Jioushun a local base to compete for technology-related projects while broadening beyond its established northern market.

Jioushun opened its Kaohsiung branch on March 20, 2026, and said it would deploy AI facial recognition, drone inspections and big-data environmental monitoring across southern projects to manage schedules, safety and construction quality. The company said 2025 profit rose nearly 60% and earnings per share reached NT$3.06, while contracts on hand exceeded NT$20 billion. It is targeting three growth areas: technology factories and offices, social housing, and urban renewal and reconstruction of aging buildings.
