AllUnity Expands MiCA-Regulated Euro Stablecoin EURAU into DeFi

2 reports · First detected 2026-04-17 · Last active 2026-04-17

AllUnity, a joint venture between DWS, Flow Traders and Galaxy Digital, obtained an electronic money institution license from Germany’s BaFin in July 2025. On July 31, it launched EURAU, a fully reserved stablecoin pegged one-to-one to the euro. Dollar stablecoins still account for 97% of the $316 billion global market, making MiCA-regulated euro tokens an important foundation for Europe’s onchain financial system.

On April 16, 2026, AllUnity announced the launch of an EURAU/USDT pool on Uniswap on Ethereum, an EURAU/USDT0 deployment on Tempo and an EURAU/USDT pool on Raydium on Solana. The market capitalization of euro stablecoins has doubled since the start of 2025 to nearly $1 billion, while it remains unclear whether DeFi falls within MiCA’s scope.

Deutsche Bank-Backed AllUnity Launches MiCA-Compliant Swiss Franc Stablecoin CHFAU2026-02-26 · 3 reports · similarity 0.80

AllUnity is a regulated electronic money institution formed as a joint venture among Deutsche Bank-owned DWS, Flow Traders and Galaxy. It focuses on corporate payments, treasury operations and cross-border settlement. Annual trade between Switzerland and the EU totals about 300 billion Swiss francs. CHFAU brings the franc on-chain, filling a gap for a compliant non-dollar, non-euro settlement option under the MiCA framework.

AllUnity launched CHFAU on February 26, 2026, backed 1:1 by Swiss franc reserves held in segregated custody. It was initially issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token for institutional and professional investors. The company obtained an electronic money institution license from Germany’s BaFin in July 2025 and launched CHFAU on Polygon on July 7, 2026, expanding its use in payments and tokenized-asset settlement.
