OpenAI Forms Frontier Alliances With Four Consulting Giants to Scale Enterprise AI
The main barriers to enterprise adoption of generative AI have shifted from model capabilities to strategic choices, integration with data and legacy systems, workflow redesign and change management. OpenAI is therefore using its Frontier platform as the technology foundation and combining it with the industry expertise and global delivery capabilities of BCG, McKinsey & Company, Accenture and Capgemini. The partnerships are intended to help companies move AI agents from pilot projects into scaled operations.
OpenAI announced Frontier Alliances on February 23, 2026, launching multiyear partnerships with the four firms under which their technical teams will jointly deploy AI. On June 14, it also launched the OpenAI Partner Network, committing $150 million with the goal of training 300,000 certified consultants by the end of 2026 to expand enterprise AI adoption capacity.
