Kenmec Taps New Chairman to Drive AI Cooling, Semiconductor Push

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-15 · Last active 2026-08-15

Kenmec Mechanical Engineering is marking its 50th anniversary with a generational leadership transition, appointing Hsieh Ming-kai as chairman. The automation-equipment maker is positioning liquid cooling for AI data centers and compound semiconductors as its next growth engines, seeking to build on its industrial automation base as rising computing density increases demand for more efficient thermal management and advanced semiconductor technologies.

Kenmec said subsidiary 金運科技 has placed its liquid-cooling systems with overseas customers including Mattel, expanding the group’s international reach. 金運科技 and 盛新材料 are also targeting over-the-counter listings in October. The planned market debuts would give the two emerging subsidiaries greater access to capital and could add momentum to Kenmec’s revenue growth, AI infrastructure business and semiconductor expansion under its new chairman.
