Hyperliquid Says Singapore Investor Alert Listing Will Not Affect Operations
Hyperliquid is an onchain protocol offering perpetual contracts and other trading products through a permissionless, self-custodial model. The Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Investor Alert List warns the public about entities that are not licensed by MAS or could be mistaken for regulated firms. Inclusion does not by itself constitute a finding of illegality, but it can shape users’ assessment of a platform’s regulatory status and risks.
On June 26, 2026, MAS added Hyperliquid, the Hyper Foundation website and its decentralized trading application to the alert list. Hyperliquid said the same day that it had never claimed to be licensed by MAS and that the listing did not amount to a ban, enforcement action or finding of wrongdoing. No fine was announced. Its network and trading continued as usual, with users retaining self-custody of their assets and transactions settling onchain.
