LEAP 5 Targets Billions in Investment as Riyadh Tech Summit Expands
Saudi Arabia uses LEAP as a flagship platform to draw technology capital, talent and companies into the kingdom as part of its Vision 2030 economic diversification drive. Co-organised by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and Tahaluf, the conference showcases AI, digital transformation and frontier technologies, underscoring Riyadh’s ambition to become a global innovation and venture-investment hub.
Organisers said on March 2 that LEAP 5 will run in Riyadh from April 13 to 16, 2026, with more than 201,000 visitors expected alongside over 600 startups, 1,800 global technology brands, 1,900 investors and 1,000 speakers. The fifth edition aims to build on the $14.9 billion in deals and announcements generated at the 2025 event. Its investor and startup programme will span 60 technology verticals and include the $1 million Rocket Fuel Pitch Competition.
