Furniture.com, Flex Pay Unite 77 Retailers in Single Checkout

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-11 · Last active 2026-08-11

Furniture.com is evolving from a furniture search aggregator into a marketplace where shoppers can compare products across brands and complete purchases through one cart. The model targets a persistent pain point in big-ticket furniture shopping: fragmented retailer checkouts, payment processes and financing options. Flex Pay is Upgrade’s buy now, pay later product, offering fixed monthly installments through lending partners. Upgrade, founded in 2017, has delivered more than $50 billion in credit to over 8 million customers.

Furniture.com and Flex Pay announced the integration on Aug. 11, 2026, bringing products from 77 furniture retailers into a single shopping and financing experience. Customers purchasing across participating merchants can apply for one Flex Pay plan and complete payment through a unified checkout. Available plans may carry annual percentage rates ranging from 0% to 36%, depending on credit and transaction details, and some purchases may require a down payment. The companies did not disclose financial terms for the partnership.
