Nscale Signs $3.5 Billion Compute Deal With Figure
Figure is developing humanoid robots for manufacturing, logistics and household applications, with its Helix AI model combining vision, language and motor control. Training increasingly capable models and operating robots at scale require substantial computing capacity, making reliable access to AI infrastructure a critical factor in Figure’s effort to accelerate product development and commercial deployment.
Nscale said in September 2026 that it signed a multiyear agreement to provide Figure with at least $3.5 billion of computing resources, with the commitment potentially rising to $6 billion. The AI cloud provider will also take an equity stake in Figure and become its preferred compute supplier, supporting development of the next generation of Helix models and humanoid robotic systems.

Anthropic agreed to spend about $45 billion with Nscale to secure computing resources powered by Nvidia’s latest Vera Rubin chips. Support under the agreement is expected to begin by the end of 2027, giving Anthropic additional capacity for training and serving its AI systems. The deal is the latest step in the company’s compute-buying push and marks a significant escalation in its cloud and data-center spending.
