Harvard Students Develop Sinceerly Extension to Make AI Emails Sound More Human

Generative AI is now widely used for email and business communications, but overly polished prose and uniform sentence patterns can make machine-generated text easy to spot and undermine the sender’s credibility. Harvard Business School students developed the Sinceerly Chrome extension in response to growing demand for a more authentic voice, using deliberate “human imperfections.”

Recent reports say Sinceerly intentionally adds spelling mistakes, abbreviations and colloquial expressions to AI-generated emails, making them appear less rigid and formulaic. Available information does not disclose an official launch date, the names of the development team, pricing or user numbers. The only confirmed development so far is that the tool has received public coverage as a Chrome extension.
