Forward Financing Raises $525 Million to Expand Small-Business Funding
Forward Financing is a U.S. digital financing provider serving small businesses that may face limited access to conventional bank credit. Its platform offers real-time application decisions and funding as soon as the same day, helping owners manage working-capital and cash-flow needs. Since its founding in 2012, the company has provided $5.2 billion to more than 97,000 businesses, underscoring the growing role of non-bank lenders in small-business finance.
Forward Financing said it secured $525 million in new financing to expand funding for small businesses across the United States. The transaction increases its total financing capacity to nearly $700 million, giving the company additional capital to scale its digital underwriting and same-day funding operations. The latest financing is equivalent to roughly 10% of the $5.2 billion the company has delivered since 2012 and marks a significant expansion of its available funding base.
