Dartmouth Endowment Discloses $14 Million in Crypto ETF Holdings
Dartmouth College is a US Ivy League institution with an endowment of about $9 billion. Its use of regulated ETFs provides digital-asset exposure without the risks of directly holding tokens. The investments span Bitcoin as well as Ethereum and Solana products offering staking yields, reflecting increasingly diverse approaches to institutional crypto allocations.
Dartmouth’s trustees filed a disclosure with the SEC on May 14, 2026, showing that the endowment held about $3.3 million in the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, $3.5 million in the Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF and $7.7 million in BlackRock’s IBIT as of March 31, 2026. The holdings totaled about $14.5 million.
