Trump Policy Push and Institutional Adoption Could Spark New Crypto Bull Market, Clear Street Says
The U.S. digital-asset market has long been affected by unclear divisions of authority between the SEC and CFTC. The CLARITY Act is intended to establish a market structure and delineate regulatory responsibilities. Clear Street said greater regulatory clarity, institutional inflows and the integration of blockchain payments with traditional finance could turn the current rebound into a new bull market.
On March 4, Clear Street analyst Owen Lau said Bitcoin had risen 8% over 24 hours and topped $73,000. The crypto market had fallen 44% between October 10, 2025, and February 28, 2026. Trump intervened on March 3 to advance the stalled CLARITY Act, while Morgan Stanley added Coinbase Custody as a co-custodian for its spot ETFs.
