Goldman Sachs Sharply Raises AMD Price Target as Lisa Su Backs Trump Accounts at White House

On the evening of July 5, Goldman Sachs analyst James Schneider sharply raised his 12-month price target for AMD to $640 from $450 while maintaining a Buy rating, implying another 16% of upside. AMD surged 6.61% on July 6 to close at $552.05. The same day, CEO Lisa Su appeared at the White House to support Trump Accounts. The company is also scheduled to hold its Advancing AI conference on July 22–23.
