Ant Digital Launches Anvita Platform for AI Agents to Trade Autonomously Using Crypto
AI agents are moving beyond information analysis to executing transactions autonomously, but they still need identity, custody and payment infrastructure to purchase services and allocate assets. Ant Group’s Ant Digital Technologies is combining real-world asset tokenization with stablecoin payments in an effort to build an “agent-to-agent economy.” McKinsey estimates that such agents could facilitate $3 trillion to $5 trillion in global consumer transactions by 2030.
Ant Digital Technologies unveiled Anvita in Cannes on March 31, 2026. Anvita TaaS provides token issuance, custody and treasury management, while Anvita Flow allows agents to register and collaborate. It uses the x402 protocol to settle transactions worth less than $0.01 instantly in USDC. Daily transaction volume on x402 currently stands at about $28,000, with some of that still consisting of test traffic.
