Fundworks Upsizes Investment-Grade Notes to $40 Million
The Fundworks, LLC is a technology-enabled finance platform serving small and medium-sized businesses across the United States, a segment that often has fewer funding options than larger companies. The company closed a $30 million investment-grade senior secured notes offering on May 17, 2022, refinancing $20 million of existing notes. Access to longer-term institutional capital matters because it supports Fundworks’ lending capacity and helps determine how much financing it can extend to small businesses.
In its latest disclosure as of July 31, 2026, Fundworks said it had increased the investment-grade notes to $40 million, up $10 million, or about 33%, from the 2022 offering. The proceeds will be used to restructure debt and fund continued growth in the company’s lending operations. Fundworks also plans to invest in AI infrastructure aimed at improving risk assessment, underwriting and review capabilities as it scales originations.
