Crypto.com, PYMNTS Partner on AI Prediction Contracts
Prediction markets turn expectations about future outcomes into tradable contracts whose prices can serve as real-time signals. Crypto.com and payments-intelligence publisher PYMNTS are applying that model to artificial-intelligence adoption, using data on how consumers and businesses deploy AI. The initiative could give investors and companies a market-based gauge of AI’s evolving impact on spending, operations and the broader economy.
Crypto.com and PYMNTS said they entered an exclusive, two-year partnership to launch “AI prediction market contracts” on OG, a prediction market regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The contracts are designed to convert AI-adoption data into tradable market intelligence. The announcement did not specify a launch date, contract value or initial set of questions, leaving the rollout schedule and product scope to be detailed later.
