Webull Launches Crypto Trading in Canada With Coinbase
Online brokerage Webull, best known for offering retail access to stocks and exchange-traded funds, is adding digital assets to its Canadian platform as demand for cryptocurrency investing grows. The partnership allows Webull to broaden its product lineup without building a trading and custody system from scratch, while Coinbase extends the reach of its institutional infrastructure through a consumer brokerage channel.
Webull said it is launching cryptocurrency trading and custody services in Canada using Coinbase’s Crypto-as-a-Service infrastructure. Canadian customers will gain access to digital assets including bitcoin and ether alongside stocks and ETFs on the platform. The companies did not disclose the value of the partnership or a more detailed rollout timetable, but the move marks Webull’s formal expansion into Canada’s crypto-trading market.
