Google DeepMind recently reported that the system set a new high on a benchmark of research-level mathematics problems. Researchers have already used problem-solving strategies generated by the system to resolve an open problem listed in the Kourovka Notebook. The company has not disclosed its investment or a specific publication date, but the results show that multi-agent collaboration has begun contributing directly to mathematical research.
