Revolut CEO Says IPO Will Not Come Before 2028
Founded in 2015, Revolut has become one of Europe’s leading digital banks through its cross-border transfers, foreign-exchange and digital financial services. CEO Nik Storonsky believes a public listing would increase the bank’s transparency and customer trust, while marking an important milestone in its further global expansion.
Storonsky said on April 20, 2026, that Revolut remained at least two years away from an IPO, putting 2028 as the earliest possible date. The company was valued at $75 billion following a November 2025 share sale and is targeting a valuation of $150 billion to $200 billion in an eventual listing. It has also applied for a U.S. banking license.
