Split Pay Raises $125 Million to Scale Bill-Payment Platform
Founded in 2022 by Andrew Borovsky and four co-founders, Split Pay helps consumers align large recurring bills with their pay cycles. The platform pays rent, mortgage or vehicle-finance obligations when due, then collects repayment in two installments, without interest or a conventional credit check. Its expansion pushes the buy now, pay later model beyond discretionary purchases and into household expenses, where timing gaps between monthly bills and biweekly paychecks can strain otherwise solvent consumers.
Split Pay said on Sept. 8, 2026, that it had raised $125 million across back-to-back Series A and Series B financings led by Khosla Ventures, comprising $25 million in the Series A and about $100 million in the Series B. Thrive Capital, New York Life Ventures and Intuit Ventures were among the investors. The company was serving more than 150,000 members as of Sept. 15. CEO Andrew Borovsky said the capital would accelerate customer acquisition, while cash-access and Apple Pay card products are expected within six months.
