Taiwanese Lawyer Launches AI Case Assistant Donna
Donna is an AI case-management assistant independently developed by Taiwanese lawyer Jerry. It aims to spare lawyers from repeatedly switching among case files, generative AI tools and administrative systems. The platform primarily uses Anthropic’s Claude and keeps data in each lawyer’s own cloud environment, reducing the risk of sensitive case information being exposed.
Donna recently launched formally, bringing automated scanning and filing, Q&A on existing case records and evidence, rapid file review and legal-document drafting into a single workspace. Lawyers can work directly with case data they store themselves. Reports did not disclose the exact launch date, development costs or subscription pricing, with the current focus on delivering practical functionality and a high-security design.
