Coinbase Asset Management to Offer Stablecoin Credit Fund With Tokenized Share Class
Coinbase Asset Management, or CBAM, is expanding into stablecoin credit as institutional demand for onchain yield and asset tokenization grows. Issuing fund shares on blockchain networks could simplify ownership and transfers. The use of Superstate’s FundOS infrastructure also shows how traditional fund management is increasingly connecting with public blockchains.
CBAM plans to offer a stablecoin credit fund named CUSHY with a tokenized share class issued through FundOS on Ethereum, Solana and Coinbase’s Base network. No formal launch date, fundraising target, fund size or expected yield has been disclosed. Investors must also await details on fees and credit allocation.
