Paymentus Posts Record Revenue as Digital Billing Demand Rises
Paymentus provides cloud-based bill-payment technology to more than 2,500 billers and financial institutions across North America. As consumers demand faster and more flexible digital services, billing has evolved from a back-office function into a key driver of loyalty, collection efficiency and cash flow. Research by Paymentus and PYMNTS involving 2,099 consumers and 400 billers found that 82% of billers believed a holistic payment platform would streamline their processes.
Paymentus said on Aug. 4 that revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, reached a record $280.1 million, up 41.9% from a year earlier, driven largely by more billers and higher transaction volumes. The company processed 175.8 million transactions, a 25.2% increase, while adjusted EBITDA rose 40.7% to $31.7 million. Paymentus also raised its 2025 revenue forecast to between $1.123 billion and $1.132 billion.
