Binance bStocks Overtakes xStocks to Rank Second Globally
Tokenized equities put economic exposure to stocks and exchange-traded funds on blockchain rails, offering eligible investors round-the-clock trading, fractional positions and potential access to decentralized finance. Binance launched bStocks on June 11, 2026, using its large crypto customer base to enter a fast-growing market led by Ondo Finance and contested by Kraken’s xStocks and other providers.
Binance’s bStocks reached $624 million in assets less than two months after launch, overtaking xStocks to become the world’s second-largest tokenized-stock issuer, according to Token Terminal data cited in an Aug. 13 report. The broader market’s value climbed to about $2.7 billion from roughly $80 million over the past year, underscoring accelerating demand for blockchain-based equity exposure. Ondo Finance retained the top position.
