Google Brings Gemini-Powered Item Recall to Find Hub

Google is broadening the role of Find Hub, Android’s location service for phones, accessories and tracker-tagged belongings. By adding Gemini’s conversational memory, the company aims to help users keep track of everyday objects that lack dedicated tracking hardware. The feature could make items such as passports, keys or tools easier to locate, provided users previously told Gemini where they were placed.

The capability was announced as part of Google’s latest Android feature update. Users will soon be able to ask Gemini to remember where an important item was left and later retrieve that information through Find Hub, without attaching a Bluetooth tracker. The system relies on details supplied by the user rather than live location signals. Google said the feature would arrive soon but did not disclose an exact rollout date.
