1 reports · First detected 2026-07-24 · Last active 2026-07-24

M&G is an international savings and investment group with £375.9 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31, 2025. The appointment puts technology, data and artificial intelligence at the center of its modernization agenda. The chief technology and AI officer will oversee systems, digital delivery and AI deployment, with a remit spanning customer experience, operating efficiency, cybersecurity and regulatory obligations — areas increasingly important to the group’s growth strategy.

M&G said on July 22, 2026, that Matt Mansour will join as chief technology and AI officer on Sept. 16, subject to regulatory approval. He will sit on the Group Executive Committee, report to Chief Executive Andrea Rossi and lead the company’s technology function. Mansour, who has more than 30 years of financial-services experience, succeeds Chris Cochrane, who is leaving at the end of July after eight years at M&G to become Aviva’s group chief information officer in summer 2026.
