Google Sets Stage for Pixel 11 Hardware Launch

Google uses its annual Made by Google showcase to set the direction for the Pixel ecosystem, combining phones, wearables and audio hardware with Android and Gemini AI. The event has become a strategic stage for showing how Google’s software and custom silicon can distinguish its devices from Apple and Samsung products as generative AI becomes a central selling point in premium consumer electronics. Pixel entered its second decade after Google launched the 10th-generation lineup in 2025.

Google will hold the 2026 event in New York on Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. Eastern time, an unusually late slot and one week earlier than its Aug. 20 presentation in 2025. The company plans to stream the show on YouTube, with Trevor Noah as host. Google is expected to unveil four Pixel 11 phones — the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold — alongside the Pixel Watch 5 and potentially a new generation of Pixel Buds.
