Vertiv Builds NVIDIA GB300 Infrastructure for U.S. Navy
The U.S. Naval Postgraduate School is expanding its high-performance computing capacity to support defense research, artificial intelligence programs and technical education. NVIDIA’s DGX GB300 platform is designed for dense AI workloads, making the surrounding physical infrastructure — including resilient power, liquid cooling and rack integration — critical to system performance, uptime and efficient operation.
Vertiv said it completed the physical infrastructure for the school’s next-generation NVIDIA DGX GB300 system, combining three core elements: power distribution, liquid cooling and AI-ready racks. The deployment gives the U.S. Navy institution a high-density computing environment intended to accelerate research and education applications. As of July 24, 2026, Vertiv and the school had not disclosed the project’s value or an exact commissioning date.
